During my time at JetBlue Airways I worked as a Digital Experience Intern, on the web & mobile team. The goal for my job was to improve user experience through webpage initiatives and projects. This included:

  • JetBlue's brand guidelines
  • Creating an updated pattern library
  • Documenting the process and procedures for updating code on JetBlue's website

One of my main focuses while creating the pattern library was to make sure JetBlue's styles met all WCAG requirements for the deaf, hard of hearing, the blind, and the color blind. JetBlue aims to be the first company in the airline industry to make all of their webpages completely accessible to people with disabilities. Overall, I not only learned what it is like to work with a team of creatives, but also the ins and outs of the airline industry.
